Do You Know Jesus?

     Being a Christian means more than just ‘being religious’. It means having a personal relationship with God through his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, the Creator of the universes wants to have a relationship with you!
     God’s word, the Bible, tells us that God is holy, sinless and perfect: (Leviticus 19:1, 20:7, 26:1, 1 Samuel2:2).
     The Bible also tells us that we are all born with a sinful, depraved nature: Isaiah 53:6, Romans 5:12, Romans 3:23.)
     God sent his Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to become a bridge, a mediator, between fallen human beings and a holy God (1Timothy 2:5). Jesus Christ, by his substitutionary death on the cross, paid the penalty for our sins, and became The Way for us to come back to God (John 14:6).
     Salvation through Jesus Christ is a free gift (John 3:16, Romans 3:23).
     It is up to each individual person to accept or reject this free gift of redemption through Jesus Christ. If you would like to accept this gift, all you need to do is talk to God, by praying a simple prayer like this:

Lord Jesus Christ, I confess that I a sinner both by birth, and by deed.
I am sorry for my sins and want to turn away from them. I accept your
free gift of forgiveness and salvation by your blood. Thank you for taking
my place by your suffering and death on the cross, and paying the penalty
for my sins.
Lord Jesus, come into my heart and save me. With your help I will live my
life for you from this day on. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen.

This is not the end! This is the beginning of a new life with Jesus Christ! Jesus has more for you!
